IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Albuquerque, NM)

We are growing our team at Summit Umber Inspection Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
