IT Support Specialist - help desk (Virginia Beach, VA)

Clearpath Vale Markets is a Virginia Beach retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 468 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
