IT Support Specialist - help desk (Toledo, OH)

Harborlight Summit Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 414 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with client orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
