IT Support Specialist - help desk (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Summit River Insurance and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
