IT Support Specialist - help desk (Tampa, FL)

Summit Loom Insurance is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 704 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
