IT Support Specialist - help desk (Tampa, FL)

Rivermark Thistle Staffing places workers with employers around Tampa. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 797 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
