IT Support Specialist - help desk (Tampa, FL)

Nova Ridge Insurance Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
