IT Support Specialist - help desk (St. Louis, MO)

Harborlight Beacon Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around St. Louis, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
