IT Support Specialist - help desk (Seattle, WA)

Northwind Meridian Foods Associates makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Seattle. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
