IT Support Specialist - help desk (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Corner Insurance and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
