IT Support Specialist - help desk (San Jose, CA)

Greenridge Cedar Legal Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for court deadlines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
