IT Support Specialist - help desk (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Wren Legal Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for intake forms, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
