IT Support Specialist - help desk (San Antonio, TX)

Clearpath Orchard Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the San Antonio region, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
