IT Support Specialist - help desk (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood Mill Telecom is a telecommunications provider in San Antonio focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We invest in training. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
