IT Support Specialist - help desk (San Antonio, TX)

Westbrook Forge Inspection Services is an inspection company in San Antonio with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
