IT Support Specialist - help desk (Salt Lake City, UT)

Amberfield West Energy is an energy provider in Salt Lake City focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
