IT Support Specialist - help desk (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sparrow Facilities and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
