IT Support Specialist - help desk (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Fox Construction and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
