IT Support Specialist - help desk (Rochester, NY)

Bluepeak Junction Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Rochester, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
