IT Support Specialist - help desk (Rochester, NY)

Foxglove Vale Financial is a financial-services company in Rochester. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
