IT Support Specialist - help desk (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge West Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Richmond, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
