IT Support Specialist - help desk (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Summit Quarry Environmental Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
