IT Support Specialist - help desk (Reno, NV)

Cedar Sparrow Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Reno with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Reno. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
