IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meadow Financial and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
