IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Harborlight Ashton Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Milwaukee, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
