IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Ironwood Harbor Health Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
