IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Westbrook Sparrow Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Miami region, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
