IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Fernwood Quill Facilities Partners looks after properties across the Milwaukee region, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
