IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Stonegate Quarry Freight Partners is a Baltimore logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
