IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Redstone Cedar Legal Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for court deadlines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 723 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
