IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Redstone Pine Manufacturing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
