IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Westbrook North Staffing is a Fresno staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
