IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Nova Ember Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Tampa with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
