IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Summit Linden Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Des Moines. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with card disputes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
