IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Nova Quill Facilities is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
