IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Harborlight Juniper Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Richmond. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We reward reliability. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
