IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Nova Bridge Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Houston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
