IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Bluepeak Pike Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Oklahoma City. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
