IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Rivermark Drift Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Toledo. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
