IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Stonegate Bright Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Madison, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with store inventory. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
