IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Amberfield Beacon Manufacturing is a Phoenix manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
