IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Harborlight Drift Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
