IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Cedar Glen Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Toledo area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
