IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Summit Cobalt Property Management looks after rental homes across the San Diego area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 329 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with vendor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
