IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Bright Basin Foods is a Portland food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
