IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Clearpath Harbor Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Rochester presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
