IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Amberfield Wren Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Indianapolis region, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
