IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Nova Linden Legal Group is a law firm in San Antonio serving businesses and individuals, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with intake forms. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
