IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Northwind Junction Property Management looks after rental homes across the St. Louis area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a large organisation of about 208 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance requests. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
