IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Stonegate Drift Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 809 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
